Hats Sleep Anywhere

Hats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair.
Top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge.
Open drawer, empty shoe, anybody's head will do.
Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don't care! Hats sleep anywhere.
(With apologies to poet Eleanor Farjeon for parody of “Cats Sleep Anywhere”!)
This is a few from my vast collection of hats! Most of these were the ones rescued from my old primary school. They were originally my great granny's but were donated to the school as she had a very small head. Luckily when we found them, they fitted! Happy doesn't begin to describe it..
The silk scarves were also inherited from the same relative. They're stored in a lovely old leather hat box that I found in a charity shop.
The brown trilby is actually Christie's Of London. Also, the yellow scarf is Yves Saint Laurent, found completely by chance. Both very lucky charity shop finds!
And the white brogues were found on ebay. They are my favourite shoes of the moment, and I have a black pair if men's brogue's to match! The dress is yet another charity shop find. It's topshop and the colour is lovely.
NOTE: I know I recieved some blog awards a few weeks ago.. I swear I will do a post on them at some point, I just wanted to get these pictures up here first! They will be coming soon.
